As humans, we are not supposed to go it alone. Many of us do, but we are social beings and wired for connection. We need teams. And most of us have them, even if we don’t see them.
When we think of celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, we think of her as one influential person. But at one point, she had a team of more than 400 people that allowed her to be on stage. That is the beauty of having team support.
If you find yourself in awe of people who seem to get it all done and have things easy, know that they may have a lot of support and invisible systems that you are unaware of. We all need support, and there is beauty in these invisible systems.
My invitation for you is to look around your life and see where you have team support and other invisible support systems. Who are the people on your team? What are the agreements you have in place? Notice and acknowledge them for what they are.
In this episode, I’m diving deeper into team support and invisible systems and giving you some examples of invisible systems you might have in your own life. I’m showing you how to develop awareness of your own teams and why we all need people to help and support us in solving problems when they arise.
