When someone asks you how you’re doing?
- Do you tell them all the shitty things that are going on?
- Do you tell them all the amazing things in your life?
As you go through your day, do you:
- Focus on what’s not working?
- Focus on what is working in your life, job, family?
When you wake up on Monday morning, do you think:
- “oh no there’s so much to do...Friday evening can’t come fast enough.”
- Yippee, skippee another great day filled with lots of learning!
As you go through your week, do you:
- Focus on what you don’t want.
- Focus on what you do want.
My friend where you focus is IMPORTANT.
It will set up your day, your week, your life.
Most of us focus on what’s not working, what we don’t want, and all the shitty things going on.
How do you feel when your focus is here?
Let me guess:
SAD. FRUSTRATED. SHAME (not worthy). DISCONNECTED. ANGRY.
I used to believe focusing on what’s not working and what I didn’t want was being authentic.
But actually, it was just me living in a shit storm + not making foward progress.
Instead be AWARE of what’s not working and:
- FOCUS on what you already have. Sound familiar … this is gratitude.
- FOCUS on the amazing things that are already in your life.
- FOCUS on the great day/week in front of you. You get to create your experience.
- FOCUS on what you do want.
This will allow you to FOCUS on where you want to go!
Your FOCUS can:
- Inspire you.
- Empower you.
Your FOCUS will
- Shape your day.
- Create your life.
You’ve got one precious life.
Enjoy the hell out of it.
Sure shitty things will happen.
That’s part of the journey.
But never forget to FOCUS on all the good in your life + where you are going!
