Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely grateful you listen to my podcast.
Here’s the thing: are you a consumer of knowledge (PASSIVE ACTION) or someone who applies that knowledge (ACTIVE ACTION)?
Passive action is listening to podcasts, reading, thinking, figuring out, planning, reading some more, listening some more, figuring out some more, with more planning … and then doing it all again.
Notice the circular motion.
Notice the consumption of knowledge.
Hey, we’ve been culturally programmed to believe if we can just know more we will do better.
The problem is mistakenly thinking that the DOing is in the consuming of knowledge.
But the DOing is in applying what you’ve learned.
Applying your knowledge is ACTIVE ACTION.
You apply the insights you’ve learned.
You test what works for you + you learn what doesn’t work for you.
You allow yourself to do it wrong and make mistakes. This is letting go of perfection.
You practice some more and then fine tune to do it better next time.
You become the best version of YOU!
Now go out into the world and take ACTIVE ACTION.
sending you love and support,
P.S. Are you great at passive action and suck at taking ACTIVE ACTION? I have 2 coaching spots open. CLICK HERE to apply.
