I have spent a lifetime at the pool. There are so many stories in swimming. In this show I share a very special show with one of my former swimmers. The photo in this post shows Heather (on the right side) as a kid with her sister on the left (yes that’s me in the middle – we are all kids).
Heather went on to have a very successful aquatic sports career in water polo and swimming. After high school, she went to Stanford and competed on the women’s water polo team and she also raced for the swim team in a meet or two.
Heather discusses the skills she developed as an athlete and how she uses those skills in her day to day living with cancer.
