I spend a lot of time with people. I have the tremendous privilege of learning a great deal from researchers, but also from the people in my life – both adults and children.
So often we’re trying to be productive, or be a good parent, and we don’t allow uncertainty. But sometimes uncertainty is where growth and achievement lie.
When we give kids the space to grow, they have the opportunity to rise up and flourish. This space is highly beneficial for them, and the same can be said for us.
I invite you to take what I’m sharing with you this week as a window of possibility for your own life. Put aside those doubts you may be casting and give yourself the mental and emotional space to grow.
In this episode, I’m sharing an example of what is possible when we have the mental, emotional, and physical space to try something that may be outside of what we practice. Hear about a time where I did not know what a child would be capable of and what happened when they had the space to grow. Discover the importance of committing to the best-case scenario and giving ourselves space to achieve.
