Unscheduled Sundays are sacred time. I am a high performer, and I know that a lot of downtime is required for me (and all high performers) to sustain performance over time.
This weekend, I shared time with two incredible friends of mine. It was so refreshing to take the time to learn from the lessons that simply came to me through spending time with friends, going about my day, and watching basketball.
I enjoyed watching my mind as I moved through my day. Deciding who to root for, how invested I am, and finding how to connect to all that came my way. I love tuning in authentically and finding out, “How do I want to spend this one precious moment, day, week?”
My friend, I invite you to schedule unstructured time. By doing so, you make space to do what you love and to learn from the experiences that come your way.
This week, I unpack the importance of scheduling time for connecting with myself and connecting with others, and finding the right balance. Find out why the little lessons and messages that come our way are huge and worth listening to. Start making space for you today.
