Judgment can be a trigger for me. It can make me act small in my life and keep me from owning my power. To do the things I want to do and be the person I want to be, I have to stop caring about what other people think and how they might judge me.
Susan Hyatt is a Master Certified Life and Business coach, podcaster, author, and speaker. In this episode, which originally aired in 2016, Susan and I talk about judgment. The biggest takeaway from our conversation? Judgment is going to happen.
It’s how we deal with it that makes the difference. If we know that judgment is definitely going to happen then there is no reason to let it bring us down. The cost of carrying our armor and taking things to heart too often weighs down on us much more than it’s worth.
“Human beings are going to judge. There is nothing you can do. You can’t fly under the radar low enough to avoid some kind of judgment,” says Susan in this episode.
I invite you to use the information in this episode to own your power and stop worrying about what others think. Listen in to learn about setting boundaries, the cost of making judgments, the weight of the armor you carry, and how to move past limitations that you face.
