So many of us have text, email, social media, and other communication mediums on our phones, meaning there are so many different ways nowadays for people to get hold of us.
With all of these methods of communication, there is an invisible, unspoken demand that we need to respond to everyone right away, and it leaves us feeling overwhelmed.
Just because we don’t have training on how to communicate via email, doesn’t mean you have to be available for everybody all the time. We are all humans on the other side of these platforms, and we need to take care of ourselves and our boundaries.
Always being available by email is a surefire way to eliminate boundaries for yourself. I invite you to ask yourself, what is your preferred method of communication? What are the expectations from your workplace? We have a responsibility to set up systems to honor our boundaries, so how can you best support yourself and those you work with?
Join me this week to find out why we all have different ways of being and how to manage email overload in your life. Discover why it is your responsibility to teach people how to treat you, why not everybody will agree with or like your boundaries, and why it is so important to do this work.
I created something special for you to help you stop fielding endless emails and answering the same questions again and again.
