Does the judgment of other people stop you in your tracks?
Are you afraid of being judged, and “stay small” in your life?
Here’s the thing … no matter what, people will judge you.
In fact, it’s not really other people’s judgment we are afraid of. It’s that their judgment could be true.
Instead of making yourself small in your life or approval whoring to try and become what others want you to be … check in with yourself to see what part of their judgment is true versus what isn’t.
After you’ve checked in with you, reach out to someone who’s on your team. They have your back, and love + support you. And most importantly, they will be honest with you.
Ask this person who has earned the right to hear your story and give you feedback, what they see as true and not true.
Now you get to decide … continue on in this manner or, if this is not an aspect of how you want to show up in your life, cultivate a new way of being.
But if you make this change, it has to be in alignment with who you want to be, not who others want you to be … and to do it, you must be rooted in love not self-hatred.
